Anyway.
We found a home for our Oscar. I loved the little stinker, but he was in his cage as I call it, all day. We let him out every afternoon, but I just hated he was not able to get out and run. If we didn't live so close to the road, that would be fine. But we are afraid he would get run over. And we have a crazy neighbor who has come over and accused him of, well, just about everything: taking her phone out in the pasture (when Kyle asked her what her number was to call it, she didn't know....???) when the phone was on her front porch all along, dragging off the other neighbors' kids toys (this neighbor was asked about it and he said Oscar hasn't done anything), and eating her cactus plant (seriously???). The poor lady...I do not have much tolerance for her. I was leaving for work one morning and it was raining. She was walking her daughter to school- except SHE had the umbrella and the girl was in the rain. I stopped and said I would take her to school, and they both jumped in! I didn't want to start something but that poor girl! I said, Um...where are you going? She told me this big long story of how her daughter missed the bus and it's her fault so she can just walk in the rain, and that since she was late (Mind you, it was 7:35) she had to sign her in. I told her it wasn't necessary to sign her in because she was not late for school. She said, "oh, but she was late for breakfast and I have to sign her in." Whatever. I dropped both of them off and said, "Have a good day!" Also, since then we have witnessed the girl outside in her winter coat when it was cold outside beating on the door with a broom stick because her mother locked her out. I just have little tolerance for these people....
So, back to Oscar. He has a new home on a farm with another blue heeler and cattle. I was excited for him but sad to lose him :(
Kyle and I went to dinner and are back home looking for a movie on tv. Yes, we are that boring. But I love it. On the way home I showed him I had a huge bruise on my elbow. Like on the inside of it. I told him I could not remember (once again) how I did it! I got pummeled by a student yesterday and hit my head on the table...but that was my head. I had rolled around on the floor trying to get a kid on the scooterboard properly. But I didn't hurt myself doing it. He looked at me and said, "Oh my gosh...I know how you did that!" He said during the night last night he was asleep and heard something that sounded like a gun going off. He got up and looked in his deer room to make sure all of his deer heads were still up (as he does every day). No problem there. He looked outside and everything looked normal, so he just went back to sleep. He thinks I just hit it on the headboard during the night. Which makes since because I could sleep through anything. So I'm guessing that's how I did it! Who knows.
Going to Fayetteville to spend some time with Whitney tomorrow. Shopping and a movie, I think. Can't wait!

Alana, it sounds like the lady might have a mental health issue. If she is locking her child outside in the middle of winter or making her child suffer in the elements, you should probably call child services on her. Even if they find nothing wrong, at least a file will be created and if there are other issues that appear, then they will be more aware of a pattern of behavior.
