Normal?

I'm trying to get back into my normal routine, whatever that is. Who defines normal? And what is it? If you figure it out, let me know.

One advantage of no doctor appointments is that I have a normal work week, which means I work Mon-Thurs and have Fridays off. Oh how I have missed this. I slept in, and I'm still in my pajamas. Ahhh. I do, however, have lots of painting to catch up on. I finished one bin this morning and am about to start on some Razorback toms.

This year for Valentine's Day, I decided to do a countdown of gifts for Kyle. I didn't tell him I was doing this, and on Wednesday I came home and said, "Happy Day #1 of the Valentine's Countdown!" And handed him this...

He read it and said, "Happy What?" He was a little confused but I just explained what I was doing. He said he didn't have anything for me for a countdown. Bless his heart...I told him I was so not expecting anything, I just wanted to do this for him. Then he said, "What am I supposed to do with this?" I said, "Just write on it whenever you feel like it!" "Like now? Today?" He does not want to mess this up!! AND he kind of took the fun out of it by analyzing every aspect of the gift!! Yesterday I taped a strip of camo paper to the outside of a package of rolo's, and on the inside I put "I love the way you Roll" but those are long gone. (By the way, most of these ideas came from pinterest.)

This will probably be his favorite, just because he loves cereal. And I messed up on the double sided tape so it looks kind of warped on the left corner; however, he won't care.

I'll post more as I give them, as he looks at my blog occasionally and I don't want to give anything away. :)
