Little Bit A Change

I've got back into my normal workout routine (with the exception of snow day and Valentine's Day this week). Feels so good to be doing all of this again...Running on Mondays and Wednesdays, and yoga and kickboxing Tues/Thurs. I just feel better.

Annnnnd, here comes the change:

You know on facebook, when all the girls take pictures of themselves, like in the bathroom mirror? It is not as easy as one would think! I took a few before I got a good picture of my hair. And Audrey said I could look a little happier! It has lightened up just a tad because this picture was about 30 minutes after I did it on Monday. But I really like it. It's more my natural color than what I did have. One kiddos response: "Miss, your hair...your hair is black and brown...your hair is black and brown!" Yes, thank you.

Another funny conversation today:
Boy (after teacher tells him she won't be there tomorrow because of a doctor's appt in Little Rock): I went to Little Rock one time I threw up in the middle of the night when my Meme was here spending the night with us and my mom and dad took me to the hospital and I went to a new school and you didn't know because you weren't there!
Teacher: (puzzled look on her face!)
Boy's Friend: Kid, I'm tellin ya, you didn't go to Little Rock. That place is faaaar away!

The conversations that I am a part of and hear every day...

Ok, one more.

I saw a former kid of mine (since I moved schools) at a ballgame the other day and said hi. His eyes got really big and he points and winks and says, "MRS. ALANAAAAA!!!" We talked for a minute and I said, "Don't you LOVE Mrs. Charity?" He said, "Well, I told her the other day that you were better than her, but yea...I do love her." Bless him.

And Charity, you KNOW that I think you are awesome. :) These kids are just rotten!!
