Another doctor's appointment this morning. It's not that far to Little Rock, but I try to make my appointments early so I can get back to work. Like 7:30 early. So I usually drive down the night before and stay with Whitney or Angie. Looks like Angie will be the winner from now on since Whit and Adam moved back to Fayetteville. I think I have a permanent camp set up in their spare bedrooms! It just makes me tired for the rest of the day/week, especially when I have two or three appointments a week. Dr visit went ok, I'm still optimistic. So you can be optimistic with me! :)
We had a sad thing happen last night in our town. A young girl tried to take her life, actually one of our neighbors. She is at Children's right now but I haven't heard anything within the last few hours. I believe she was around 15. Sad. It's times like this when Kyle starts in on death questions...and I sure don't have the answers. I don't understand but I'm just praying for the family.
On a lighter note, I'll leave you with a quote from one of my kiddos today. You'll love it.
Kid: "Follow me to the chapel of....of...finance."
Me: "The chapel of finance??"
Kid: "No, no, I meant the chapel of ROMANCE!"
....oh, where do they come up with this stuff??!!
that's a good one
ReplyDeleteWe can learn a lot from kids if we just listen :)
ReplyDeleteVery sad about the young girl - praying.
Those doctor appointments can be oh so tiresome but a very good investment :) And I am Very Optimistic with you!
