I've never liked to write, so these will be all but perfect. I want you to know what's going with us, and I want this to be a way I can talk about things without having to unload on Kyle. Lots more to come... :)
For today, a little background information:
As most of you know, I have been married for 3 1/2 years. Kyle and I dated on and off for a long while, and finally decided we better get married before the "off again" cycle started again, lol. Since we've been married we have rented, sold a car, bought a house, changed jobs, lost ones we love, come close to losing ones we love, talked each other through family affairs, argued over little (and big!) things, and we have been fortunate enough to travel: Mexico, Colorado, Jackson Hole Wyoming, Florida, Las Vegas, Europe, and hunting trips to who knows where (I don't attend those). I love to travel and have really been able to see a lot here lately, since I moved to contract work. Basically, I'm self employed. And I love it.
I currently work for two therapy companies in the public schools. I have recently been offered a job at a school full time. I will start in August and I'm so excited that I will be in one place, rather than 5. I will definitely miss who I work with but am excited to start this new journey.
A couple of years ago, I started painting when Kyle was gone hunting. It has turned out to be a great hobby that I love and a nice little on-the-side job. I paint picture frames, wooden letters, canvases, canvas bins, and I make fabric bows, bow holders, door signs, and tutus. Recently, I've made lots of things to match kids' bedding, which is really fun and a bit challenging at times!
Kyle works for a poultry company as a field representative. He just got news he's changing routes, and I think he's pumped! A little change of routine does everyone a little good. I will be the first to say though that he is not a big fan of change. He likes routine, and is a tad bit OCD. Some characteristics? Sweeps daily, moves all the non-occupied hangers to one spot in the closet, lines up his watch, wallet, and pocket knife to where they are all equal lengths away from the edge of the nightstand, keeps his truck so clean on the inside you could eat off the floormats, and checks on his mounted deer heads daily in fear they will fall off the wall (again...actually that did happen and he's a bit nervous now). Needless to say, he despises my "important piles" all over the house.
Off to bed, yes, to bed at 9:15 on a Saturday night. The story of my life....
Check back, I will update more on our life journeys lately.
Oh, and if you have any tips on uploading pics from a mac, please do share!
